The Grand Canal of Venice is the most spectacular “highstreet” in the world.
This tour helps you to imagine what Grand Canal was like when there were still gardens, Squeri (where the gondolas where built), warehouses and stones mason. Our guide will entertain you with stories of the most historical palaces (many famous owners) and will help you to recognise the palaces, who lived where, why poets and writers such as Shelly, Byron and Browning loved this city.
This tour includes a cruise along the city’s more secluded waterways to enjoy the picturesque small bridges and “off the beaten track” sights.
